I truly don't know where to begin when it comes to these two. I can honestly say, I've never met anyone like Malina and the amount of love that these two share for each other is overwhelming and inspiring. The moment I met them at our first consult I knew we were the perfect match--it only grew from there. We met to discuss outfits for engagements, had the best time at their session, chatted over the phone and were able to meet again to finalize things before the big day and 'catch up'. I love them. I seriously wish you could meet them and feel the love I felt and see the happiness that simply radiates from Malina--but hopefully you'll be able to see that in the pictures we were able to capture. When I arrived at the hotel Malina and her equally stunning sister were giddy and ready to get the party started. Malina had everything set out for me and we had the best time snapping away--she's clearly a natural when it comes to this 'picture' thing ;) and can we talk about that GOLD shimmering, sequined dress of sass for her sister's bridesmaids dress?! Obsessed! Malina's dress was of course more than perfect and going along with her Wedding 'theme' of glitz/glam/gatsby; everything was adorned with feathers, rhinestones and fabulousness!
Meanwhile, the guys were having a low key afternoon enjoying a few beers at Back Bay Brewing--an awesome new local spot at the oceanfront that everyone should check out ;) Brian hung out with them before heading to the church for their beautiful 'I-do's'!
Malina shared a 'first look' with her dad whom she adores and I'm pretty sure it was already the third time I'd cried that day...
We had plenty of time for pictures and despite that pesky sun peeking in and out of clouds messing up our light. We lucked out with a lot of happy white clouds, an absolutely gorgeous couple that was head over heels in love and they fully appreciate pictures so we were over the moon to say the least!
The reception was perfect. I found myself tearing up during their first dance just at the site of their sheer happiness. As I touched on earlier, Malina is just one of those girls that when she laughs, you have to laugh too. Her kindness is evident in everyone that she encounters. These two have been together for 12 years, they're High School sweethearts. They've beaten the odds and conquered the obstacles and here they are, elated to finally be one, to be married. Their Wedding was as perfect as their love and it was such an honor to be able to share in this day with them as well as to have them as friends. We love you guys!! I hope you enjoy their Wedding as much as we did!
Hey sweet Brides out there! It pays to have good window light in your 'getting ready room' on your Wedding day--we get the chance to snag a few 'Bridal Boudoirs' for that sweet man of yours!
Ohhh my favorite flowerssss!
Ya'll, I can't handle it. Not a care in the world, not stressing about her dress, just HAPPY and making the best of her day aaaand pictures. I love it.
Fun fact! Malina chose to toss a 'clutch filled with goodies' and Vinny tossed a 'wallet filled with goodies' and the floor was open to ALL ladies single or married and ALL men single or married--so no one was left out for the sometimes dreaded 'tosses' ;) Brilliant and such a fun, unique and sweet idea!
XOXO
