These two are just an overall sweet and snazzy couple! When I worked with them for their engagements they had style for days and the best smiles--they claimed they felt 'awkward' in the beginning and were pro's by the end of it. I couldn't wait for their beautiful 'I do's' at the gorgeous Founders Inn Venue! When I awoke that day it was the worst weather you could ever imagine. I'm talkin' beyond torrential downpour, high winds, pitch black out. This went on for hours. I texted back and forth with Ashleigh, wishing her a 'Happy Wedding Day' letting her know I'll be seeing her so very soon! She teased back, can't wait, hope you've got your rain boots! I was so happy to find that she was in great spirits and no weather, no matter how bad, was going to ruin her day. To my astonishment, an hour before my arrival time, the rain subsided and the sun even started to peek out! By the time their ceremony took place the weather was like night and day--the brightest blue skies, happy white clouds and warmth from the sun was shining brightly over Ashleigh, Matt and all of their loved ones; it was perfect.
When it came time for portraits I had to joke with them-- mannnn you guys don't have any friends at all! TEN groomsmen, TWELVE bridesmaids and three flowergirls--holy Wedding Party! Such a fun group of wonderful people. The reception was full of dancing and happy laughter and it was an all around beautiful day! I'm so excited to say that I will also have the honor of capturing Matt's brothers Wedding in August--how cool is that?! Can't wait to enjoy this rambunctious group of fun-loving folks again this summer!
