Casey+Tony|Engagements

This is another one of those 'pinch me' moments. Getting the opportunity to work with these two beauties is pretty surreal for me. I've had the honor of capturing BOTH of Casey's brothers Weddings! I've fallen in love with her as well as her beautiful family (and her sister in laws, she lucked  out big time in that department). When she reached out to me after her engagement I was humbled and blown away--and was crossing my fingers that I would be available for her chosen date!! We tossed around some possible dates; ones that she had in mind and ones that I had available and hallelujah, we're now the proud Wedding photogs of what will no doubt be the most perfect celebration of love! We had originally planned on winter engagements but Tony's deployment and things leading up to it caused a little hiccup in our plans. I'd say it was for the better--they got to spend their last days together and enjoy and we lucked out with a beautiful Summer day for their session instead--after he returned safe and sound.

Now these two. Oh my goodness talk about hilarious and in  L O V E.  Now yes, it should go without saying that they're in love, but with these guys you can just feel it. Tony's main focus was Casey, was she happy, was she having a good time!? He kept her laughing, kept us laughing. They chose Downtown Norfolk/Waterside area because that's where they love to walk their precious puppy AND it just so happens to be where Tony proposed, on the dock overlooking the water. I love a sentimental location--makes for the perfect setting for pictures!

They claimed to be awkward and were worried about getting a single good picture--I had to laugh. I don't think they realize how incredibly adorable they are. I absolutely loved working with these two and cannot wait for their Fall Wedding in just a few short months!! Thank you so much for trusting me with this special time, I'm truly so honored and excited!!
