I can't believe this was our last Wedding of the season! And what a way to finish; road tripping to such a beautiful area with my love/second shooter! Ironically enough, it was the one and only bitterly cold day we've had thus far but these two were troopers--I like to think it's because they had such an abundance of love and excitement to keep them warm ;) Now, I think I need to first divulge that these two had been dealt quite a few unexpected things the night prior to their Wedding Day. First, one of Rachel's bridesmaids went in to labor after the Dinner Rehearsal (shew! talk about a close one!) Sadly, there was also the sudden loss of a family member. Lastly, the person who was supposed to be traveling in to Marry them became very ill and was unable to make it. Despite all these things; they remained positive, hopeful, joyful. They were marrying each other and they would deal with these things, together.
Rachel was positively glowing when I arrived and I couldn't wait to squeeze her after emails and chats from a distance. George is awesome, so kind and genuine. These two are truly sweet as can be and we had the most perfect day ahead of us! They shared an emotional first look and we were then able to wander the beautiful greens and get all of their portraits taken prior to their ceremony (which was perfect for timing and light--so thankful for that First Look before night fell so quickly!) Such a lovely ceremony was shared where two religions were brought together, two family traditions were combined and two people became one--it was a beautiful thing!
The Reception was filled with fun Greek dances and delicious treats and love by all! I'm so thankful we had the opportunity to travel and capture this beautiful day! We fell in love with these guys and we were welcomed with open arms and for that I'm forever grateful! I can't think of a better way to finish out our 2015 Wedding Season!!
XOXO
