What a beautiful year it has been!
There is no way to fully explain my love for these people and the gratitude I have for them entrusting us with their most precious day in life. Every Wedding day is different, every couple is different. Every ceremony is special in it's own way, every touch of decor and detail is thought out and it thrills me to never know what I'm about to walk in to and experience. Some couples book us from a distance so we're sadly not able to meet prior--others book us a year to two years in advance and we're able to meet and grow through sessions, chats and meetings--regardless of our duration of time together, their day has made a permanent impact on my life and they will always share a special place in my heart. The trust it takes to book a photographer will never be lost on me. My ultimate goal is to always connect and fall in love with my couples. For your day to be FUN and carefree. I know so many people dread taking pictures so I want it to be an enjoyable experience where you can be yourself! Yes there will be your 'typical posed pictures' but hopefully from that hands on direction comes comfort and ease, we eventually start to laugh and your true love and personality can be captured. I never force 'First Looks'--though I do love them and appreciate when Brides+Grooms take in to account the time the sun is setting, the time needed for pictures and heed my advice to gain the quality of pictures they deserve! From beaches and happy clouds to greenery and my favorite sunflare--I pray each couples beauty shines through and they cherish their images as much as I cherished the opportunity to take them!
We did a total of 24 Weddings; all of which I adored! With those Weddings booked we were also able to enjoy multiple weekend getaways, Birthday celebrations and Family loving; proof that you can have the dream of both business/careers and family--thanks to wonderful, understanding people like YOU! From the first Wedding I shot--I was pregnant, so I'm also so very thankful for my couples trusting me even during pregnancy, I know that can be a testy leap of faith with the unknown! Sadly, I was unable to take on Weddings from the end of October on so I missed out on my favorite Fall and Winter Wedding season but I did gain my most precious son--so I'll let it slide ;) Hopefully I'll be able to make up for the missed pumpkins, fuex fur and holly leaves by doubling up this upcoming Wedding season!
It's already shaping up to be a wonderful year! We truly look forward to working with amazing vendors, clients turned friends and capturing gorgeous venues and life through our lens! As of the New Year we have also opened up booking for 2016--we look forward to hearing from you and falling in love with your love :)
