After the sweetest emails I couldn't wait to finally meet these two! Turns out, Amber contacted me to shoot her Wedding and I wasn't available--switched her date, again, I was already booked. When she was telling me this it broke my heart!! After all of that, I couldn't believe that she thought of me when it came to their maternity session-- I am so so honored! We lucked out with a randomly warm day for Winter however it was right after a snowstorm and a torrential downpour so needless to say we were wading through swamp lands, not ideal. The mud and standing water limited us but they trooped through, soggy feet and all! Amber is just a bubbly ball of light. When she smiles it reaches her eyes and makes you smile too, I love it! Justin clearly adores her and that beautiful belly and they made my job so easy! This tiny five footer tippy toeing it to reach Justin's lips kept me laughing the entire session. To end it they chose to do a 'powdered chalk toss' to showcase the sex of their sweet baby BOY to have documented. They already knew the sex, but it was super fun to capture and just reiterated the excitement, it was almost like finding out all over again!
These loves only have a few short weeks before the arrival of their son and I'm over the moon for them. I can't wait for them to experience such beauty and all-encompassing love! Wishing you all a safe, smooth, happy and healthy delivery! All my love!!
